Казалось бы, в чем проблема? Иди к стоматологу и отбеливай зубы. Но, как объяснил мне доктор, моим зубам обычная проце-дура отбеливания не поможет - цвет будет не тот. Более же агрессивные манипуляции, которые дают осветление на несколько тонов сразу, моим зубам категорически запрещены, потому что их эмаль чересчур тонка и такого грубого обращения не вынесет. Тупик? Да! Видя мои страдания, стоматолог предложил по-пробовать виниры.
Семь раз отмерь, потом нарасти!
Фарфоровые виниры служат долго, если их обладатель соблюдает технику безопасности. Если эксплуатировать обновленные зубы слишком активно (например, грызть орехи), то виниры могут отслоиться или сломаться, И хорошо, если винир отслоился целиком, потому что стоматолог без проблем вернет его на
место. А вот при поломке винира установки нового не избежать. Если у вас накладные ногти, то вы примерно представляете, как аккуратно надо обращаться с наполовину искусственными зубами. Пятен от чая, кофе, красного вина и тому подобных красителей непосредственно на фарфоровых винирах не остается. Фарфор никогда не помутнеет и не обесцветится. Другое дело - цемент, на котором закреплен винир. Его защищать от пятен все-таки нужно. Зубу, с которого был снят верхний слой, прежний вид вернуть уже невозможно. Наращивать естественную эмаль сто-матологи пока не научились. Так что виниры - это навсегда!
ВИНИР - калька с английского слова veneer, которое переводится как «навести лоск» или «облицевать». Виниры - это специальные «накладки» на зубы, дальние родственники знакомых нам коронок. Установка виниров - процедура не такая простая, как обычная чистка зубов, и не слишком приятная, но результат того стоит!

Технология. На предварительно обточенный зуб, с которого снимается тончайший слой природной эмали, при помощи специального цемента стоматолог крепит фарфоровую «заплатку». При правильно подобранном винире зуб выгладит так, как у голливудской звезды. Кстати, кинозвезды прибегали к помощи специальных накладок на зубы еще в 30-е годы XX века. Правда, тогда виниры были не столь совершенны и держались не так долго. Сегодняшние технологии позволяют «облицевать» зубы так, что мама родная от натуральных не отличит.
Аргументы: «за» и «против»
Приставать к стоматологу с требованием немедленно осчастливить вас, поставив виниры, все- таки не стоит. Врач, а не пациент принимает решение: пора или нет реставрировать зубы и каким образом это лучше сделать.
Рекомендуется. Часто виниры ставят по медицинским показаниям. Из-за сколов, широких промежутков между зубами, нарушений формы и прочих дефектов, если зубы «развернуты» в разные стороны или тесно расположены.
Не рекомендуется. Противопоказание к немедленной установке виниров - обычный кариес. Его необходимо ликвидировать, прежде чем «украшать» зубы. Существуют серьезные дефекты зубов, требующие принципиально других методов лечения. Например, установка традиционных коронок. Ведь винир не делает зуб прочнее, он выполняет только эстетические функции. Кстати, хороший стоматолог не даст добро на виниры, если пациент страдает бруксизмом - этим страшным словом называется привычка скрежетать зубами, приводящая к сильному истиранию эмали.
Если стоматолог дал добро на виниры, то первое, что он сде-лает, - снимет с зуба тонкий слой эмали и изготовит слепок, который послужит основой для создания винира. Обычно его
но, а вот чувствительность зубов резко возрастет. Так что лучше на это время отказаться от холодного, сладкого и слишком горячего. Если вы не хотите соглашаться на такие ограничения, то попросите стоматолога сделать временные виниры. При этом придется пойти на дополнительные расходы, к тому же временная накладка может соскользнуть с зуба и быть проглоченной вместе с пищей.
Второй визит к стоматологу произойдет тогда, когда виниры будут готовы воссоединиться с зубами. Перед тем как «одеть» зуб, стоматолог должен подогнать винир к его поверхности. Если вы ставите винир всего на один или два зуба, то важно правильно подобрать их цвет, чтобы они не контрастировали со своими «соседями». Того же оттенка должен быть и цемент, на котором будет закреплен винир.
