Синдром хронической усталости (СХУ) был признан болезнью лишь в 80-е годы XX века и до сих пор очень мало изучен. Многие врачи до сих пор не признают существование СХУ, принимая жалобы пациентов за каприз или проявление депрессии. Первые же попытки систематизировать жалобы пациентов и выявить факторы, провоцирующие болезнь, показали, что новому загадочному недугу подвержены трудоголики, не знающие покоя и отдыха и существующие в состоянии непреходящего стресса. Со временем это представление пополнилось множеством версий происхождения самой болезни. То ли она вирусная, то ли грибковая, то ли еще одна разновидность иммунодефицита. Американцы, например, выявили у большинства пациентов генетические изменения, которые влияют на способность центральной нервной системы адаптироваться к стрессу. А украинский ученый Константин Логановский уверен, что СХУ вызывают малые дозы радиации в сочетании с психологическим стрессом. Некоторые психиатры продолжают настаивать, что СХУ существует лишь в воображении людей, подверженных депрессии. Даже у сторонников восточных практик имеется свое объяснение: нарушение целостности биополя.
Относительно распространенности СХУ данные тоже сильно раз-нятся. Скажем, исследователи из Калифорнийского университета полагают, что сегодня в США число носителей вируса СХУ достигает 3 млн человек и что в ближайшее время он поразит не менее 1,5% жителей планеты.
СИНДРОМ ХРОНИЧЕСКОЙ УСТАЛОСТИ - это постоянное ощущение вялости и слабости в течение 6 и более месяцев, которое не проходит даже после хорошего сна и полноценного отдыха.
Установлено, что СХУ в 2-3 раза чаще поражает женщин, чем мужчин. Заболевание начинается, как правило, в самом трудоспособном возрасте - 25-49 лет. Длится оно, по наблюдению израильских докторов, в среднем 4,5 года и проходит бесследно. Правда, другие исследователи в такой благоприятный прогноз не верят, считая, что рецидивы неизбежны.
Предположить, что вы страдаете СХУ можно только в том случае, если у вас наблюдается одновременно не меньше четырех из ниже приведенных симптомов: небольшой жар или легкий озноб ангина,боли в суставах (коленных, локтевых и плечевых,бессонница, спутанность сознания, частая перемена настроения, (забывчивость, рассеянность, неспособность решить простейшую задачу, депрессия, явная раздражительность), неожиданные визуальные расстройства, боязнь света.
При всем разнообразии мнений для диагностирования СХУ все врачи пользуются одной методикой. Сначала доктор исключает ряд заболеваний со сходными симптомами - болезни сердца и щитовидной железы, инфекции, эмфизему, сонное апноэ, анемию, артрит, рак, рассеянный склероз, алкоголизм и депрессию. А потом ставит диагноз «СХУ» на основании двух критериев: ощущение пациентом апатии и слабости плюс разнообразные симптомы, свойственные обыкновенной простуде. Примечательно, что все анализы пациента при этом остаются в норме.
Поскольку причина возникновения СХУ до сих пор точно не установлена, то и лечат эту болезнь симптоматически, то есть борются с каждым неприятным симптомом в отдельности - антивирусными препаратами, антидепрессантами, обезболивающими и снотворным. Еще считается, что очень важно повышать иммунитет и принимать витамины, и, конечно же, вести здоровый образ жизни: меньше нервничать, соблюдать режим, правильно питаться, заниматься спортом. И ни в коем случае не падать духом.
В нашем отечестве районные врачи хроническую усталость за болезнь не считают и в лучшем случае выпишут вам больничный на 3 дня с диагнозом ОРВИ. Между тем, питерские специалисты из Института мозга человека разработали для лечения СХУ специальный прибор. Электроды посылают слабые токи в определенные участки мозга, в ответ организм вырабатывает обезболивающие вещества, которые улучшают регуляцию нервной системы и ее взаимодействие с органами и тканями. А у знахарей и гадалок поиски медицины вызывают лишь ироничную улыбку. Они-то уверены, что это вовсе и не болезнь, а вражеские козни под на-званием «порча». Может быть, вас действительно сглазил требо-вательный начальник или завистливый коллега?
СХУ - ДИАГНОЗ, НО НЕ ПРИГОВОР. Чтобы выздороветь, надо регулярно принимать витамины, заниматься спортом, правильно питаться и, главное, постараться не падать духом.
