ОН ТРЕНТ ПАРК
Выставкой всемирно известного австралийского фотографа Трента Парка Dream/Life в Москве открылась новая галерея Gallery.Photographer.Ru

«Я обернулся и увидел свои следы на песке. И тогда я сделал свой самый первый снимок», - так начинает Трент Парк рассказ о себе, о жизни, о фотографии.
Когда Тренту было 12, он не предполагал, что через каких-то 20 лет его назовут одним из самых изобретательных и шокирующих фотографов-документалистов новой волны. В те годы Парк снимал на старенькую мамину камеру, а фотографии печатал в темном подвале. В то время он жил где-то на задворках Австралии и мечтал о карьере профессионального игрока в крикет. Но все изменилось, и в глазок видоискателя Тренту Парку открылся новый дивный мир - мир на грани яви и сна.
В возрасте 20 лет Трент Парк переехал из маленького провинциального Ньюкастла в Сидней.
В водовороте жизни шумного мегаполиса ему открылась великая тайна одиночества как глобальной идеи. Сквозь эту призму Парк увидел не только Сидней, но и собственную жизнь. Чтобы побороть неприятное гложущее чувство,
Трент вышел в город, посмотрел на него в объектив верной фотокамеры и в течение 5 лет, день за днем, шаг за шагом стал вести фотодневник Сиднея и его обитателей. Он выходил на улицы, ловил особый резкий свет и создавал новый образ Сиднея - города дождей, рекламы и бесконечного одиночества. Освободившись от визуальных штампов, Трент Парк обнаружил другой Сидней, потерявшийся за глянцем туристических открыток и пафосом рекламных буклетов. Перед зрителями открылся город теней, город магических пришельцев, город странных открове-ний.----------------------
. В итоге получился проект Dream/Life - определяющий и самый важный в жизни фотографа Трента Парка. Именно этот проект явил миру его уникальный фотоязык - гипнотизм, гипертрофированное внимание к деталям, режущий изображение пополам свет. Художник увидел вещи привычные и даже обыденные такими, словно странные сны и видения детства стали реальностью.
На собственные деньги Трент Парк выпустил фотоальбом Dream/Life, который не только принес ему всемирную славу, высшую награду на международном конкурсе «Фотография года» (POY) в США, приглашение стать членом знаменитого агентства Magnum, но и изменил всю жизнь Трента. На пятом году съемок проекта Трент Парк встретил молодую фотохудожницу Наррель Отио. Первый день с Наррель стал последним днем Dream/Life.
«Я больше не был одинок, в проекте не было смысла», - признается Трент Парк в интервью. С тех пор Трент Парк делает все проекты «семейным подрядом» - вместе с женой и детьми. И каждый проект становится книгой откровений.
В серии The Seventh Wave зрители увидели загадочный мир серферов - и это был взгляд из-под воды. Два года Трент и Наррель провели на пляжах Австралии, снимая людей в объятиях морской стихии, людей, летящих на гребне волны в будущее. Проект Minutes to Midnight открыл для всего мира современную Австралию - страну природных катаклизмов, Сиднея - города дождей и бесконечного одиночества человеческой неустроенности, «страну, потерявшую невинность», как писали в австралийской прессе.

Каждый новый проект Трента Парка удивлял и гипнотизировал зрителей не только выбором темы, но и новым, уникальным взглядом фотографа на мир. Творческую манеру Парка сравнивали с такими классиками документальной фотографии, как Юджин Смит, Уильям Кляйн, Диана Арбус, Гарри Виногранд, Ли Фридландер.
Трент Парк чрезвычайно увлечен поиском того самого места и света, в котором открываются тайны жизни и внешний хаос вмиг оборачивается четкой матрицей связей и отношений между элементами мироздания. Фотографии Трента Парка всегда немного неправильные, незаконченные, у них словно есть «выход». В этом он близок манере Сары Мун -блестящей современной фотохудож-нице, также увлеченной поимкой своих снов. В творчестве Трент Парк во многом слуга обстоятельств. Он часто рассказывает, что не может себе позволить бебиситтеров, поэтому на съемки вынужден брать своего грудного сына. Парк ждет подходящего освещения, сажает ребенка в коляску и выходит из дома. По его собственным словам, когда коляска задает темп, он видит именно то, мимо чего прошел бы раньше, и то, что становится центром его фотографической вселенной.
В будущем наряду с авторами международного агентства Magnum Photos, которое представляет выставку Трента Парка Dream/Life, галерея Gallery.Photographer.Ru будет знакомить российскую публику с другими талантливыми зарубежными и отечественными авторами, открывать новые имена и тренды.
