Вопрос уединения в домашних условиях попыталась решить дизайнерская группа Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, представив на выставке Vitra Design Museum в Германии домашний шалаш. Два тента из жатой ткани элементарно стыкуются друг с другом, образуя замкнутое пространство, с ковриками и покрывалами в тон. В шалаше можно читать, смотреть кино, заниматься своими делами и любовью - автономно от прочих обитателей квартиры.

lllupillow - так назвал свое изобретение немецкий дизайнер Оливер Шик, и это название точно отражает сущность предмета - круглой полиуретановой подушки с приделанным к ней гибким светильником. Ложитесь на нее хоть вдвоем и делайте, что хотите, тем более что размеры позволяют: диаметр подушки - один метр.
Человек в зеркале, если правильно зеркало расположить, выглядит лучше, мир - краше, дом - больше.

С зеркалами, конечно же, можно и нужно играть в изменение объемов. Если хочется комнату оптически увеличить, то зеркало - первое средство. В деревенских избах 40-60-х годов прошлого века зеркала вешали под наклоном, как бы смотрящими в пол, чтобы увидеть не только себя в полный рост, но и удлиненный пол, и увеличить размер помещения.
При этом зеркало можно сделать какой угодно формы. Недавно, оформляя комнату для одного маленького аутичного ребенка, мы вырезали два зеркала в форме птичек. Такие зеркала придумал голландский дизайнер Эд Анник. Искать в них свое отражение бесполезно, но ребенку и не надо смотреть на себя. Зато зеркальные птички отражают все, что могут, и меняют комнату Вообще с помощью зеркала можно создать иллюзию. Скажем, ряд круглых зеркал-иллюминаторов на стене дает ощущение подводной лодки. Я этот прием использовала однажды в оформлении клиники «ДНКОД»: в зоне отдыха персонала там стоял обеденный стол, длинный и узкий, шириной всего 30 см. Есть за ним, уткнувшись в стенку, было не очень приятно. Поэтому я наклеила напротив каждого стула по круглому зеркальцу, чтобы каждый сидящего.
Изобретено зеркало, способное отправлять SMS. Сохраняя тайну переписки, оно отражает буквы с близкого расстояния. Еще одна новинка - зеркало для примерок, способное перевести отражение в цифровой формат и отправить на мобильник подруге - посоветоваться. Существует «Зеркало-шина»: его барочная рама повторяет рисунок протектора колеса. Карим Рашид предложил модель Kirie - «выходящий» из зеркала мужской силуэт, тоже зеркальный. В 1937 году итальянец Карло Моллино придумал зеркало Milo в форме силуэта Венеры Милосской, которое ежегодно переиздается. Сегодня очень модно иметь зеркальную ширму, а чтобы создать винтажное настроение в квартире, стоит наломать зеркальца на кусочки и инкрустировать ими столик
дящий видел себя красивым. Другой вариант: наклеить на стену маленькие зеркала, любой формы, без рамок или с деревянными рамками, как в IKEA, расположив их под разными углами. Под зеркала можно положить, например, кусок гипсокартона и, располагая их в разных плоскостях, добиться иллюзии неровной стены. Пространство будет отражаться в них под разными углами и как бы «разбегаться». Причем так можно оформить не всю стену, а только фрагмент. А взяв зеркала в разноцветных рамках, можно их как бы выстроить и прорисовать между ними линии.
Если комнату необходимо оптически увеличить, зеркало -первое средство. Я думаю, скоро в мире возникнут технологии, позво-ляющие делать и цветные зеркала. Они могли бы стать важным элементом декора. Скажем, фрагментом бирюзовой стены может быть бирюзовое или желтое зеркало. И было бы здорово, если бы у нас появились новые, очень простые способы обработки края зеркала.
Я очень люблю фацетное стекло, с которого по всему периметру срезаны под углом широкие фаски, как в старых зеркалах: на срезах красиво преломляется отражение. Если сделать много таких фасок, то не нужна рама. Причем лучше фаски срезать не по прямой. А если вам хочется именно раму, настоящую, и чтобы зеркало в ней выглядело таким старинным элементом декора, то вполне достаточно взять хороший багет или два-три багета и соединить.
Еще я думаю, что в самое ближайшее время научатся делать гибкие зеркала. Не те пластиковые, дурного качества, которые мы имеем сегодня, а зеркала из каких-то новых высококлассных по-лимеров, которые могли бы «обнять» изогнутую стену. Пока, увы, технология еще не догоняет дизайнерскую мысль, но я думаю, что это скоро случится.
В 2007 году после реставрации открылась Зеркальная галерея в Версале, стоившая французской казне почти 400000 ливров.
По прихоти «короля-солнце» 73 метра бальной галереи открыли 17 широкими окнами, выходящими в парк, а стену напротив отделали 306 зеркалами, в которых отражался парк.
Галерею наполнили блестящими вещами и вазонами с померанцевымидеревьями. Все это отражалось в зеркалах, запутывая посетителей. Галерея была открыта для всех, так что маркизы здесь сталкивались с пастушками, которые не стеснялись приводить на экскурсию овец и коров.
